Clare is a crime writer who has been shortlisted for the prestigious CWA Dagger Award.  She writes about women in historically based crime novels with humour.  Her first was about a woman who thinks her husband might be Jack the Ripper!  Her most recent is about female criminals, based on a real London gang in the 1920s, like Peaky Blinders but all women
